thank you and goodbye.

After lots deliberation and contemplation, it’s with a heavy heart that I announce that Solace and Still won’t be restocking your beloved favourites, but will be closing the doors for the foreseeable future.

I started out with a vision to be a conscious brand that uses my favourite sustainable material. But to me, it’s equally important to embed an honest production line, one with fair wages and working conditions for all involved. The high cost of goods and the emergence of many competitors made it challenging to sustain a profitable business aligned with my mission. I’ve always strived to offer quality bedding at prices as affordable as possible, but the realities have made it clear that continuing in the same vein is not viable.

While I may be saying goodbye for now, I’m hopeful that this isn’t the end of the road and that one day I’ll find the means for a revival. My fingers are crossed!
